Welcome Clemens,
that F-16 really looks nice and well maintained, will it be with the access doors open or closed?

Clemens, Welcome to Viperpits!

We really appreciate the work you are doing with F-16A aircraft.  Many of our members have either Block 10 cockpits, or parts from the earlier block 10 models.  Perhaps someone on the forum will have that Radar Screen you need for your museum display.

For those VP members who haven't visited your Museum's Website, here is a link to the home page (English translated page)-

http://www.luftfahrtmuseum-wernigerode.de/en/index_en.htm

Again, welcome to the forum- feel free to comment on any of our postings, especially any special details you may know about these aircraft.  Some of our members are current / former military pilots, or work in the aerospace industry.  Others are hobbyists that just love the thrill of flying on full afterburner!  Some work with aircraft salvage and surplus military parts- so you never know who might have a part you need.  As JJ pointed out, if you have any extra parts you won't be needing you can always sell them here and we'll gladly find a new home for them!

WE LOVE PHOTOS HERE, so any additional photos of your F-16 display would be appreciated as well.  Many of us refer to photos that have been published in books or websites in modeling our cockpits.  It is always nice to have a fresh look at some of the details that might have been overlooked.

Welcome Clements,

Nice collection you got there.
Is this a private collection ?

Might be worth visiting one day if i am in the area.

Regards,

Biggles.

P.s. how is the landscape near your place ?
It seems like your near the only dark spot on google maps in the hole of Europe.

The landscape over there is stunning, at least in my opinion:)

Welcome Clemens!

My name is Tom and I live about 40NM south of Berlin (Luckenwalde).
So, it's not that far away from my location to Your really Great Museum.
I didn't even know that such a beautiful collection is that close to my place. ( except the air force museum at Gatow..)
My Dad was flying the F-104 at Eggebeck ("Vikings") , therefore I'm really looking forward to see Your 104s  :yihaw:

Glad to have You here at Viperpits

Cheers
Tom

if and when I ever find myself in Germany I'd like to stop in to the museum. The "spheroVision" pictures on your site are great, now if I could just figure out how to get spheroVision for outside visuals...
