Image previews not loading correctly

Am I the only one having this problem?
In most posts some of the preview pictures don't load.

Clicking on the link shows the image, though, also slideshow mode shows them without problems.
So the original attachments are fine, only the preview images look to be faulty.

First I thought there could be a DB error due to the sitecrash last time, but it's also on new posts.

Also it's not permanent, reloading the page often shows the previews again.

So same IP address, not sure why one would load and the others won't.

Depending on the browser it could be no issue (I'm on Brave, so it's quite restricted).

I had the same with Firefox. Happens only occasionally.

Also I have got a 503 error message several times in the last few days. Pressing F5 to reload usually loads the page without problems. So I guess it has to do with server connection and load of server.
