Cockpit Lighting
« on: December 10, 2018, 10:01:52 AM »
Hey guys,

In regards to cockpit panel lighting the panels indicate console and instrument panel.   So my question is does the Instrument Panel lighting include the AUX consoles?   Starting on my wiring and wondering whether I tie the aux consoles to consoles or to the front area?

I think the Lighting panel functions are as follows:

Primary - Inst panel:
All the CP instruments, Backlighting of the CP panels, Right aux console gauges, MFD backlight and ICP backlight.

Primary Consoles:
All the backlighting of the Left and Right console panels plus the backlighting of the panels on the left aux console.

Flood Consoles:
All the flood lights located in the Left and right sidewall plus the Throttle floodlight.

Flood inst:
Floodlights below the glareshield and the one in the small glareshield of the CP

Mal & IND LTS switch
BRT/DIM function of all the Malfunction and indicator lights.

Ok so basically the instrument panel is in fact just the instrument panel.  Makes sense.
