Hello From Illinois
« on: November 18, 2023, 02:59:15 AM »
Hello all!
I first joined Viperpits back in 2016 when I started work on this pit. I was pretty quiet as I slowly learned and worked with what little time I had. The pit got pushed to the side in late '20 and I'm just picking it up and re-registered here as my 3yr absence got me culled. Just now putting it back together in it's 3rd home. Couple pictures of its current state below. I'll get a build thread together eventually and throw up some of the historical work this time around...

Welcome back !

Judging from your pictures, you are quite far and shouldn't have too much trouble putting together a nice flyable pit.

@salaxi54 - I'm in Rockford, about 90 minutes west of Chicago

@Atlas - lol, the pure WH, on a 3d printed base... pretty good for slamming your hand on the right sidewall, FSSB not in the budget yet...

Ahhh..."hail to the orange, hail to the blue - hail, Alma Mater"!

Used to have cousins in Rockford - right now I'm in Wheaton for Thanksgiving.  That's where I hail from, but I got enough of the snow and have wandered about the Country since I left Urbana.  Now that I'm ready to retire I have no idea just where I want to live!

Welcome back!!! I too took some time off.  Now I'm back at it.
