Ok guys, I need some help please!  :?:

I'm about to do the Dance but before I do I need some assistance with a couple of questions.

1. Which is the better way to go, bearing in mind that I am after realism first and eye-candy etc second? (F4/SP4/BMS2 or F4/FF3/CobraOne)

2. Which install guide should I use? I have found dozens of install guides, each of which people claim to be THE way to tango.

3. I have read Flareless' FF3.1+CobraOne 1.1.1 install guide here on the forums. He mentions issues with the FF OCI Theaters. Is this still a problem or have FF fixed them?

4. In Flareless' FF3.1+CobraOne 1.1.1 install guide -

Falcon / FreeFalcon / CobraOne - Full Installation
.
.
9. Use the Cobra Config Editor to setup your settings based on the chart below

There doesn't seem to be a chart of settings. Can anyone help me here please?

5. Do I need to get a prescription from my doctor for Prozac first?

first of all - yes, when aproaching the "dance" have some nearby, also put the cat far away.

actually - the ff dance is not that hard, iirc - just install F4, then ff, then the ff patch and cobra.(really don't remember where the skins and theaters go, but it's in the install docs of ff and cobra iirc, so just follow these.

about SP and BMS - don't remember - tooo long ago.

but you can install both in diferent directories, and also AF, so you can switch whenever you like - they don't bother each other too much

Thanks for your advice and tips Ido. The cat runs away every time I go near my sim anyway. I think the sound system scares her half to death! :)

Does anyone else have any comments before I take the plunge?

The "Chart" refered to was for squad specific details and is not required.  If you're flying solo try the defaults first then tweak as needed.  If you're flying with a squad they will provide you with the specific settings used for MP flight.
