Not yet. His profile says that he was in here on October 2, 2013.  So he has been here.

Hang in there Viper, they are well worth it!  I was lucky enough to get one of Pennys original kits.   Once you get them, and start cutting, you will be amazed at how fast your progress takes off!

Edit:  the kits were laser cut from birch using jasons plans. No longer available, but using the stencils, you can end up with a great build.

I have said this before. For all of the new guys wanting to buy Jason's plans. We have all had to wait on Jason to show up to get his plans. They are worth the wait, BUT there is a lot of stuff to collect, fabricate, and build that does not involve Jason's plans. While you are waiting for Jason, start working on your ejection seat. One of the most important builds in the project. Brenda's plans are free in VP. Her plans will also be great practice for when you get Jason's plans. There are also panels and switches to collect and build. That alone will keep you busy for a very long time. My point is, don't get too impatient when there so much other stuff to do until Jason shows up again. AND most important, take pictures or you will bring down the wrath of JJ.

Happy New Year to all!

I have taken sagrzmnky's advice while I'm patiently waiting to hear from Jason and started with Brenda's great ACES II office chair. I have a father who is turning 90 this month and has been taking care of my mother who has had Alzheimer's for the last two years. He loves to work with wood and I figured this would help give his mind a break from the regular routine and we could spend some good quality time together to boot. Looking forward to getting the sawdust flying.

I have read with great interest many threads and am amazed at the ideas and passion everyone has. I look  forward to spending many more hours reading (between building with Dad) and collecting more info and realizing happily that I'm not the only crazy one!

Very touching story. My grandfather and my wifes grandmother both had Alzheimer's. It is a very bad disease. Please take good care of them both and enjoy every moment.

Happy New Year everybody!

I'm really sorry for being a ghost for the last 4 or 5 months.  My wife and I just built a new home and it's been an all consuming process to say the least.  We just moved in on Dec 20th.   :yihaw:  Between building the new house and all the stuff associated with that, moving and also turning my old house into a rental, I'm at a loss where the time has gone.  I have been terrible at personal communication these last few months, and I feel really bad about it.  I am so far behind in PM's, emails, text messages, phone calls and forum threads, I don't even know where to start.     Sorry everybody!!!   :brickwall:

Some new years resolutions I have are to get caught up on the forum and to release some new stencils.  Also to get my cockpit out of storage and get it setup in the new house so I can work on it again!

Cheers,
Jason

How can I fail when I don't have a purpose?

Happy New Year. This is fantastic news. Congrats on the new house. I am sure you have tons of messages waiting for you. Since you mentioned new stencils, what plans do you have in mind?  I would love to see stencils for the aux consoles and maybe the inside panels on both consoles. I think the center ped. and tub design are fantastic.

Hey Jason, glad to see you survived the build. I know what you mean, time consuming. I built my place 28 years ago and I don't want to scare you but I'm still building. Don't get me wrong, I finished the house but the wife(s) would want a change and I would finish that project just (amazingly) in time to start the next project. It's a wonder I got time to fly. This one is into gardening though and I will be able to start my new pit when I get your great stencils (hint, hint). When you can Jason, I'm a patient man. Good to hear from you and congrats again.
