Hey Wouter,

I must admit, this pit is a lot more transportable  :harhar:
And you can say "I have build this puppy myself", which surely gives you a good feeling
Keep busy (and show us the results) !

hi all,

today they have collected my cockpit

as stated earlier, i have sold my cockpit and build more like a desktop pit,

whas not easy for me, but the best solution,
now it is on its way the hamburg germany

update on the desktop soon i hope

 :vprules:
cheers heines

Heines,
i think i can understand your feelings ... but probably you made the RIGHT MOVE !
working on a huge cockpit is really hard ! it can be frustrating and surely a bad hit to motivation !
I'm exactely in the same conditions ! having an F-16 Lear Singer trainer in my garage and ....... leaving it there to take
dust ......
I'm really thinking to sell it or trade it with a smaller pit that i could put in my game's room ... that probably will convince me to get back to work on the Pit .....
I shall consider this option seriusly !

I think the day will come i will feel tears dropping from my eyes ... but that's the life and sometimes you have to make choices !

Good luck for your "desktop" pit project ! I'm sure it will give you great satisfaction and it won't let you regret your miss !

Hey all.

Finaly i have doen some work on my pit.

I have finished the structual build. Added some stuff like the canopy handle etc.

Painted to parts on the outside black and removed the panels to be painted a Nice gray.

The sides are still open but in the future they Will be closed with canvas or i Will leave it exposed.

After painting i Will build up the panels and start wirering the pit.
Still need to figger out wich electronics i Will use.

Take care all

Cheers Heines

Very nice construction Wouter, and very compact!!

Hey all

It's been a while since i placed some progress here,
Progress is slow due to cold weather.
I hoped to paint the desktop pit before the weather turns to cold for paint.
Did not work out as planned.

Sow now indoor progress wil start, i ordered the ps cockpit stuff and i have to mod. lot of indicators. But there is a problem, these i can not open because of the paint inside( not healthy)
Plan is to rebuild all the instruments from scratch and sell the real ones.
The big problems would be the face dials, i have to drawn them some how.

Sow any help is needed for 1 and 2 inch tubes, you have any please send me a pm.

I will take pics once started

All take care
