This real throtle guide rail just came in, it will be Moulded and cast, I will also take it to a machine shop to get a price on reproducing it in metal.

Well I have received a message that I am copying other peoples work,
That I purchased a throttle Guide from Penny and now am making copies of it.
I did purchase Penny's Throttle Guide, and have plans to use it for my own pit.
I have not, and will not, copy Penny's products or anyone else’s.
I have a copy of peoples work but I will never sell that product unless that person does give me express permission to do so.

The throttle guide that you see in these pictures is a real throttle guide from a real viper.
It was sent to me for the express purpose of making an impression in rubber, to be sold on AvSim web site.
It is at this time in my possession.
There will be two types of this product made, a metal, and a resin version, it will be no less than an exact replica of the front side with a separate After Burner gate attached.
As of yet I have not seen this offered on viper pit.
I have had a few conversations with Valcor about my glare shields, and because his look much better than mine, I have stopped selling the CP Glare shield, And guess what... I bought one of those too.
When he starts selling the brows, I will also quit selling mine, except for in the event that some one would ask for mine for reason of price but as with the CP I would discourage it.
There is a person on the forum who just asked to buy my CP Glare Shield, and I did tell them that Valcor's was better and for the same price.
As far as I know this is not a problem for Valcor, and the last I knew I did not have any problems with Penny, as I just talked with her about a week or so ago.
A while back I got a message asking me if I copied Penny's Throttle Hinge, the answer is: NO!
My Throttle Hinge is a molded replica of the real TQS Hinge and pinky lever, That Part was also sent to me.

Sorry for the rant people, it will never happen again, I have learned a valuable lesson today.

One more thing, if you haven’t bought, or don't intend to buy anything from me, then you have no business sending me a message asking me about my products and where they come from.

Here we go again!  These are all copied parts and your always going to be copying them from someone--Lockheed- Martin Baker-etc....  I guess it is the way you do the copying that matters ( if that makes since)

If your using someones plans off this site and you didn't make them (Selling for a profit) - then ya , that is wrong!

It is clearly visible that is the real gate Dunk- go ahead and make them! I will be interested in a metal version!

Ditto to what Cannon said.  You're doing the ViperPit community a tremendous service Dunk . . . keep up the good work and don't let uneducated or misinformed folks get you down. Your integrity is not an issue and you're damn sure not getting rich helping the rest of us.  Thank you.

The fact that people ask where your products come from is a good thing in my opinion, it means the community is looking out for guys like me and you!     Most people don't know who is friends with who behind the scenes.  Just keep doing your thing and don't feel bad about what you need to charge to make this worth your while.  Realize that it is impossible to make everyone happy and this is a tough crowd to please for sure!  Just be a duck, let the water roll off!

The back side of the throttle Guide Rail will be perfectly flat.
It will work as perfectly as the real one with Penny's arm or the real arm.
the bracket will not be there.
there will only be a Afterburner Gate and it will be adjustable like the real one.
The Gate will be a resin copy of the real one.

We need to add to the list of people who are buying the Throttle Guide rail, if this project is going to be a possibility, because I must return the real throttle guide to the owner pretty soon.
The machinist will need this part to do the drawing and he will not start on the project without 60% down.
If some one can do a mechanical drawing of it, in a format that he can use, I think DXF File it will save us 280.00, and I can send the guide rail back.

I should be able to do the DXF file!
I've done Marvin's plate and I'm pretty good with AutoCad, but I'll need the real part to be able to reproduce it.
