Welcome Mike!

It sounds like you have a nice shop.  A 3D printer will be a valuable addition.  There's lots of files suitable for 3D printing in the downloads section of the forum.

IMHO, it's best to start with a good FDM printer.  Prusa and Bambu printers are popular and reliable.  There's plenty of cheaper options but if you want to build a pit get a reliable printer.

Resin printers can print at very high resolution, but they are more difficult to use than FDM.

I have both, because pitbuilders can never have enough tools :whistle:

Mike, i have a few creality Ender 3 printers and they were a PITA!!!  I bought the infimech TX last year and GOOD GRIEF is it WAAAAAAY BETTER!!!! It is as close to "push the orint button and walk away" as ive seen. It uses a version a Bambu interface.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these. I have only had a couple if tiny issues and 2 failed prints out of approximately 200 prints.  Check them out, im NOT affiliated at all.
