Bio
<edited 4/12/05>
Here's a photo of me and my husband with his family at their house in Mexico at Christmas 2004. Eddie's mom Ana is in the chair. Left to right in the back are Xadani (Eddie's sister with a bottle of tequila in her hand), Graciela (a friend), Marisa (Eddie's aunt), Alan (his brother), Eduardo (my best friend and husband), me and my pasty face...

OK - what the heck...
I was born on Bitburg Air Force Base Germany in 1963 and spent my childhood as an Air Force brat. I've always been fascinated with anything that flies and knew from the age of 5 that I wanted to be a pilot. I spent the first few years of my life in Germany and learned to speak German and English but have lost much of the German since my parents didn't continue to speak it after returning to the States.
I learned to fly in a piper Cherokee PA-140 and first soloed in 1979 . I served six years in the Air Force Reserve as an Aeromedical Evac Tech (airborne medic) mostly on C-130 aircraft. I got out before Desert Storm but a lot of my friends had the pleasure of participating... I've been flying Falcon since Falcon AT came out, and used to compete in the Falcon 3.0 challenge ladder on Compuserve for quite some time. I also flew Air Warrior on Genie for a while, actively flew Flanker online for several years, and helped form a Falcon 3.0 LAN squadron here in Columbus "back in the day".
I'm married to a wonderful guy named Eduardo. Too bad he isn't as into sims as I am, but at least he's very tolerant of my addiction and the cockpit taking up half our computer room.
I've been a computer programmer and or systems analyst for more years than I care to remember and am currently working for the State of Ohio as a systems analyst.
I currently have Falcon 4, IL-2 Forgotten Battles, LOMAC, Strike Fighters, and MS Flight Sim 2004 installed. But of course Falcon is my primary sim since that's what the 'pit is all about.
I'm also very much into gaming (mostly RPG's and strategy), am an avid Science Fiction & Fantasy freak, and love rock climbing.
Current Projects
My current projects (aside from the perpetual slow work on my cockpit) include working with Feathers and Blocker to develop an accurate set of affordable F-16 panels as well as my own project to accurately duplicate the ACES II ejection handle by casting it from rubber. My husband Eduardo and I are also currently hopelessly addicted to the online RPG City of Heroes and having way too much fun playing superheroes.
I'll see if I can get a photo or two up sometime soon so I can really frighten you all =P

Gwen,
Nice work!!
What's with woman and their damn weight?? That is the first thing I ask when I meet a girl, they love it!
Ok, here is a stupid question?? What does RPG stand for? (besides Rocket propelled grenade)

Hiya Jody,
If my weight is really that important to you its 140. I'm pleased to say that my ass fits comfortably in my ACES II seat.
As for RPG it stands for Role-Playing Game. I started playing Dungeons and Dragons with my brothers and my dad back in 1979 (I guess '79 was a busy year for me). Now I enjoy playing Neverwinter Nights (current D&D computer game), Morrowind (superb single player RPG), and City of Heroes (online RPG where players create and play as superheroes).
Are we happy now? =P hehe

Gwen,
Ahhh, I was just kidding around, cause I know how woman are with their bums! I had one girl friend who had a very nice small ass, and was so convinced it was big... She kept asking me day after day if she had a big ass! So finally one day, I said " Yeah Kelly, it is as big as the back end of that truck over there! " Needless to say, it was a short relationship!
The only RPG game I ever tried was "Twilight 2000". Our Ref (I think they were called) had a real sick imagination, and made the game really fun for post WWIII scenarios.
Take care

Posting a picture? I can't see it in your text. Oh, Hello I can be so rude sometimes, sorry! I am new here, but what a great place. I am surprised to see so many people posting so much useful information on this topic. I searched for almost a year, and by accident ran into a few members on ebay buying much the same stuff as I was collecting for my pit, and they told me about viperpit.org. I am sorry, I gab a bit too! Just wanted to say hello, and let you know about the pix.
Later,
DAN
