Building this piece of hardware was really a lot of fun (and frustration - as always in our hobby).
Now on to the Cap and a partial Fishbowl. And then I think it's time to build a better Center Pedestal...

Ok, new Center Pedestal first. The Fishbowl has to wait until redesign of the Pit's basic structure when I know how much space there will be.

Today I started with the new CP using Symulate's plans with little modifications to end up with these fu****g angles like on the one in the really flying birds and some other modifications as I'm building it only from 6mm MDF and (of cousre) final plating with plastic. Also I don't really need the instruments because I will use a CPD also on this one. The top also has to be modified to fit my HUD-Block later.

This was the easy part...
