Girls and their "telephones", you know how that works!

3 girls here.... all in their teens now.

sorry to hear about your *luck*,  I know how you feel.  :o

I caught my wife looking over my should the other night, she had to turn away as soon as I started banking. I think if I can get her to actually try flying, I know she'd like it.  :sunshine: (she doesn't want to touch the joy stick shared she'll break it - all puns apply) (of course if she reads that I'll get slapped.    )

You're not kidding!  That was not my biggest worry though -- I was worried more about whether my 115 lb. Anatolian Shepherd would accept another dog in the house.  But so far so good!  They're running around like old buddies already.

Since the "Pit Room" topic keeps coming up, I thought I'd post some pics of my original Pit Room from back in the day (2001).  Too bad I live on the other side of the country now!  But this pit room is still out there waiting for me to return to it :)

Yeah, it was pretty much an Amish-style barn-raising, LOL!  That building went up fast, since it was all square cuts, and with the help of a Paslode nail gun, it couldn't have been easier.  The worst parts were putting on the roof (you can see I delegated a lot of that!!  What are older brothers for, after all?) and putting in the ceiling insulation.

The interior was all tongue-and-groove knotty pine.  I'd gotten a deal on a huge pile of boards from the local lumberyard out there, but the catch was, I had to cut the back half of the "groove" off of all of the boards, because they had warped slightly and so they couldn't be used as originally intended -- they just woudn't fit together any other way...an Exacto knife made fairly short work of that (like about 3 hours to trim a few hundred boards).

Wiring was simplicity itself for a 480 square foot box, so was plumbing.  Window trim and door trim was a real bitch -- I gained a newfound respect for trim carpenters after doing that project!
