I appreciate it guys.
No mater what the outcome this will be a faith builder for me.
I have never been so devoted to the Name Kneeling Warrior for this is truly a war on all fronts.
I will be glad to get back to the loving arms of my wife tonight.
This place is a tender box ready to explode here in Indi.
I just had to sign papers for them to do evasive surgery this morning due4 to building pressure in the brain.
I am the only person who is at the hospital all night and day, I am sure that there will be many words for me today because of the decision that I was forced to make.

Again Thanks for all of your prayers

You know we are all pulling for you and your brother. My wife and I had just been talking a week ago about how important a medical directive is. Most people put it off till it's to late. In all of life's events there are lessons to be learned, right? Don't second guess yourself about signing for him Dunk, you are looking out for his best interest.

Nigel

Thanks Dave,
I am 30,000 feet up now on my way home and very happy to be so.
You are so very right about that Med directive, that would have been so much easier.
Every body said that he told them something different too.
and it was so uncomfortable for everyone.

Well as of 8:02 tonight my brother Roger's fight is over.
I am so glad that the meeting that was scheduled for tomorrow
will not be needed because I think that it would have caused a
lot of damage to our family.

A Little About me

This is a news paper picture of Roger in his prime.
Right after he got out of the US Navy he tried out for the
US Olympic Archery team, He was a stand by for the team.

A Little About me

Roger is on the right in this picture, and my next to oldest brother Richard is on the left. Richard had just lost his wife to a cancerous brain tumor last October.
At The funeral was the last time that I had seen Roger, though I had spoken with him by phone right after he had his strokes.
Prior to that he helped me on several occations with machining tips.
It was His son Shane who got me started doing the Vacume forming for the seat backs and the side walls.

Again these are Roger's two youngest daughters Nicole and Shanon.

This is some of the words from the new paper clippinmg under the picture.
It is very old and hard to read.

National champion once, Indiana state champion multiple times, narrowly missed qualifying for the Olympic team because he had to sleep in his car when he went to the tryouts and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that his wife Norma sent with him. The actual Sheriff of Nottingham flew in to Detroit, Michigan to give him the trophy for the national championship.

Robert,

Sorry to hear that your brother lost his battle and you lost your brother. After I lost the love of my life, I found these words in her possessions. I haven't been able to read these words since I lost her. I hope this puts a smile on your face.

God saw you getting tired

And a cure was not to be
he put his arms around you
And whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away,
And though we love you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Your little soul was put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Your friend,
Valcor

Thank you Earl,

I liked that so much that I copied it and pasted it to my Face book for all of those who are following Rogers updates.

I want to post this even though it is very humbling/embarrassing  to me:  A viper pit member here on the forum after I had decided to sell some of my newly acquired parts in order to pay my way to Indi asked me not to do it, and he offered to pay for my trip to visit my family, he told me that it was essentially a loan without conditions.

You know that I am very grateful to you.
If I thought that you would not mind I would mention your name in this post.

Those who may be critical of this forum and its members, if you only knew the kindness of the people here and how we all care for one another you would never again think ill of the people here.
I could never begin to repay all of the generosity that I have experienced at here Viper pits.
