My 20th anniversary with Falcon 4.0
« on: December 14, 2018, 05:32:26 PM »
Hey guys,

Well today is 20 years since I received my Binder Edition from the MPS team signed by all members.  20 years of dedicated Falcon 4.0 flying.  I say dedicated cause to date no other Simulator has stole my passion from F4.  Thanks to all of this community that has kept this iconic simulator alive!

Couple photos for you guys..   My signed copy that I received on Dec 14 1998 and one of my beta discs from 1997 that I managed to keep.  And of course a copy of my logbook that I have kept and maintained since 1998.  20 years already??   Here's to 10 more!  :beer2:

I had an Amiga 500 also. That’s where I got hooked on flight sims. It was an F18 interceptor game. I forgot the name of it.

As much as I appreciate where we are today with technology behind simulations, I do miss the 90s.  In the 90s you could go to your local computer store monthly and find at least two night simulation titles and the latest HOTAS developed by companies like Thrustmaster.

Our demand for realistic flight simulation is SO high that it becomes impractical (financially speaking) to create software.  So in the end, although I love where we are at today..  But we did kill this industry.  lol
