Title: Hello from Belgium
Post by: Tricky on July 22, 2015, 12:25:14 PM
Hi all,

So here is a little post for introducing myself.
My name is Cédric and I'm from Belgium near Liège/Luik.
I'm 37 years old.
Since i'm Young, the fighter jets are a passion for me. I got a lot of collectables as diecast, pictures,... and recently, i started to build my ACES II. Right now, i don't know if i'll make my complete pit. The reason is simple, it's a lot of money. But the seat is a good beginning.
I hope to find a lot of ideas, advices and all i'll need.

Welcome to Viperpits. (Bienvenu chez Viperpits). Just take it step by step. and you will get there.

What diecast models do you collect? I myself collect mainly metal diecast 1/72 F-16 models, Dragon Models, Witty Wings, Gemini,  etc... still looking for a few though.

1/72 and bigger scales are more detailed but you need more rooms.
All my collection is in 1/200 and from Gemini200, Inflight200, Hogan M-Serie, Herpa,...
It's a small scale but it's really well detailed.
I'd like to build the 1/32 Tamiya F-16CJ.

Hogan does have some nice models. I especially like the camouflage versions, so I mainly collect these myself. Still want to get the Cas Vipers model, and the Alaskan Agressor in 1/72 though...

Yeah, i got the 3 schemes camouflage of the 18th Aggressor Sqn (AK). All from Hogan and Herpa.
I got the F-15C from Gulliver200 and F-15E from Hogan. Very hard to find.

I have the blue scheme, and the white gray black scheme. Still looking for the green-brown-sand pattern one... at a bargain price :lolsign:

A question, are the night vision goggles printed with 3d printer?

I don't know... but i think the ANVIS was printed with 3d printer too.
A friend made them. I'll ask him.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

I noticed you have already begun collecting parts for your ACES II-  Great place to get started.

Take time to read over some of the older build threads to get ideas.  There are plenty of fellow pit-builders to help you along the way!
