Update!!  I've finished the bottom seat pan before fiber glassing it.  I also added my headrest that needs some work.  As you can see I have not built the Main Chute box per specs.  Don't have time and I'm so ready to finish this seat.  I'll be adding more detail to the seat though.  Also I have started my aluminum casing for the 7inch monitors for my MFDs.

i love this idea

I have a feeling this could be done using a 3D printer really easily... I had a plan to do this in alu or tin, but a 3d model would be nicer.

If anyone is interested in a 3D/stl model that I am happy to prepare and share, please start a new thread ( to avoid hijack ) and I will respond in there. Otherwise I will just do the work myself.

Great work there mate, and I suppose you are using 7" 4:3 screen
Have you tested the active area on those screens?

Could be nice with a picture with some color on the screen so I can see the active area.

Thanks  Kukki.  Yes I'm using a 7" 4:3.  I  tested the screen yesterday but couldn't figure out the right resolution for it on windows.  I know there is a way to size  it also via the MFD extractor.  I need to figure out how all that resolution stuff works .  As soon as I get that right I'll post a picture and the resolution details.
