Awesome work there!! I was thinking about buying one of those myself. Are they easy to work with, setup and what about maintenance?

Again, great work on the panels!!

Best,
Fred

Great, you finally sort it out. It looks very good for the first test.
Make lettering a little thinner

With that same font, make them path (Object to path), then shrink each letter (Dinamic offset) and drag till desire width.. Finally move them to the appropriate distance. Example in Inscape:

Thanks mrwell,

As I tried to engrave panels whit and CNC cutter last year I bought one from China. Well the cutting worked fine,  but engraving letters was a total failure.
Tbecause I needed to create the Gcodes I bought the tool AbViewer.
You can compare AbViewer whit a very small autocad solution. The cool thing whit AbViewer is creating panels very simple in autocad code which I can use in the K40 laser with a simple Nano controller board.

I think this is the font I need to use.

that results in this..   I believe it is almost the same..

Nice Work!
That F16 font works, but the font I use is Gorton Digital which is a MS 33558 approved font, I personally like the look of it better.
