Hello from Germany
« on: March 15, 2021, 04:05:04 AM »
Hello F16 freaks,

My name is Raimund (Ray) i´m 34years old and come from Germany (Bavaria) and i like to build my own cockpit for DCS/VR.
At the moment i build my DIY CNC Machine with 1200x1000mm size to cut the Rips, making the Panels ect.
So I think I will start with construction and do one panel after the other.
The panels do not necessarily have to work with LEDs because I want to build a VR cockpit as described.
It is more important to me that the positions of the panels, the seat, MFD etc. Exactly like in VR,
so that you can quickly find your way around virtually and get to every counter.
I hope that I can find a lot of information here in the forum. I am firmly convinced that,
as I have seen, there are a lot of insane f16 pits here.
I hope that I can get to know some people, fly together and acquire a lot of specialist knowledge.

So now I have to look further to get informations from that great forum....

Thanks for the Add and Have a good one
Ray

This virus will never let go on you anymore.

Also be aware that the virus might subside for a while, during which you might feel like selling your pit...  The problem is that after you sold everyhing the virus will pop up again double as agressive, and double as expensive to treat  :harhar:

Welcome to Viperpits!

Using VR in flight simulators is an interesting task, trying to integrate positions of real tactile switches & controls with the VR goggles.

I will be very interested to learn how you integrate everything with the VR.
