F-16 module cockpit
« on: June 16, 2023, 01:57:17 AM »
I saw this page and was wondering, are those pics from the DCS F-16 module cockpit? If so, the spacing error on the PRGM switch must be the longest living error in pit building history...  :D

Hello @Nikolas_A could you be more specific? What do you think is wrong? I'm asking because @Knight is also developing a panel based on a replica panel I have. Would be a pitty if we also got it wrong.

Are you refering to the position of the tekst in the displays?

I'm referring to the position lines for the rotary.
They should be evenly spaced in 36° intervals.
In the layouts we all started working with, the angle between 2 and 3 is greater than the others. Xflight.de, Mike's (at least the early) panels and others didn't catch that and it persists to this day

Nikolas you are correct, that is indeed the longest living error in pit building history.

LOL.. I never noticed that uneven spacing, so it looks like I never had that error in my CMDS panel :-D
