Thank you guys!

Inspiration is the most important thing, I believe.
I never thought that my work would inspire others so this makes me very happy!
But what I believe would be inspirational also, is that when I first started with the cockpit,
I didn't know what a screw is, I had no idea of constructions and building things. Not at all.
Step by step things started to take shape.
All, everything, because of this place here... VIPERPIT!
 :hail:

The best of all - I think - is that I still know very little things about building techniques,
and still "Frankenstein" is growing up...
Let's see if some day will really become "Gotzilla"!!!  :harhar:

Hello guys!

Where can we find this mod to tilt the stick forward?
(Tilting the sidestick forward - Page 66: http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=537.msg66095#msg66095 )
(..or should I inform Ribbs and Dunk that my birthday is getting close?? ::)  )

Or instructions to make one?

Thank you..

Thank you! Are you happy with it? Is it what you expected, any problem perhaps?

@Kukki , did I see somewhere that you had this part too in some picture I guess, or am I wrong?

Yes happy, did require some filing down because the 2 screws didn't go into the base entirely making my stick wobbling on the base. The metal is pretty damn hard to file down.

I think I will have to go for that one since it seems there is no other choice.

Thank you for your note but could you please show me with a pen on a picture what I will have to do? What do you mean by "filing down" because of the 2 screws?
Maybe the attached picture would help you show me?

If you scroll down that shapeways page into the comments, you'll see 2 comments made by me in August 13 2016 with 2 pictures.

I have two of these for my two grips and both work and fit great.  The only thing I noticed is the mount screws do not work.  But I actually never even used my two mount screws (the ones that hold the connector to the neck piece) because you really don’t need them.  Once the grip is mounted to the base it certainly isn’t going anywhere.

You can contact Dave Patterson here. I have not had any experience with the other companies so I am not saying anything bad about them in any way.
I know that I have personally seen a cheaper made stick tailpiece break off in someones hand. If you are the only one flying your sim, then you know how to take care of it. However, if you take your sim to shows where the general public may be flying it, or allow inexperienced friends fly it, then you want something that is going to be as strong as possible. When inexperienced people get into a dogfight situation, they tend to slam the throttle around and put as much pressure on the stick as they possibly can without realizing it. Bad things can happen in those situations when your stuff has not been thoroughly strength tested.

I have actually snapped two of the original TM necks but they are just white metal or something.   These ones are steel and I don’t think I could brake them if I tried.
