Hi all , my name's Giuseppe and i'm from italy , moreover i'm a AMVI pilot , and i hope a day , whit your help ,  to build a copy of f16 cockpit , but now i don't know a lots of tgings about elettronics , in fact i hope to learn something here for example how to make a switch , i know well english becouse i study it hard and i have some  certificates of trinity college .

thank you guys , about the bulding of the structure and of the other pannels of the pit i think haven't lots problem i have some difficultes only about the elettronic part like make a switch or make a ded with a lcd screen , i was thinking to make a pit both with physical tools as switch and mfd ded and other both with the help of some tabletsin witch i would like export some tools like adi , hsi and otther .

so how can i start to learning somthing about to make elettronics parts like switch with a microcontroller like poskey or it http://www.desktopaviator.com/Pages/Boards/index.html for example ? i would like make also a caution panel with a leds but i don't know how i can to communicate falcon with the leds of a panels that i would like make . thanks  ;D

yes i have seen it in the aces 2 area and in download area where i have found also a plans more simple than brenda , infact i'm not very expert now XD XD but i hope to improve ,a day , for my pit i was thinking to not pay so mutch (<- usually, this is spelled as 'much') , build all panels with plexiglass and print the picture from internet , but i don't know the size of all panels that i would like make , moreover for the central ocnsole i would like put behimnd the panels a tablet or a screen for hsi , adi , altimeter , aoa ,vvi and speed indicator , at the moment the bigger diffult is to found the pictures with the size of all panels to print and to put in plaxiglass   :lolsign:

Hello and welcome on the dark side!  :harhar:
Don't worry about "knowing not much".
I guess, most of is started with only a few knowledge.
First, you should make yourself a plan - Planning your first steps, what you want to build first, etc.

It is s lot easier, if you devide your pit into "smaller" parts - and fully concentrate in their building. Otherwise You will be overwhelmed with Information...
As example: If you decide to build the AcesII, just concentrate in this.
Collect every information about the seat, start collecting parts for it, and so on. Avoid to do many different things at the same time (like Seat, hull and Panels or complex things like DED). You will so other things later.
Once you completed the seat, start your next project, like the hull for example. This will help you a lot in using your Time for learning effectively!

You will find a lot of Support here -
and most Information are avaiable in these forums.
Try to read as much as possible here and you will
find the answer to your questions.
Building, learning and getting the neccessary Informations is a time consuming task...

Yes you're right i think i will do in this way , first i will draq a plan that will ara diveden in three or more parts  left,  aux left , center , right , aux right , seat , and i will make one thing as you say , about to make all panel with plexiglass what do you think ? And where can i found or buy all panels pictures to print with the real size of their ?

Take a look at:

German and English language avaiable.

There are a lot of informations, especially about the panels.
Every panel with detailed pictures and explanations.
As far as I know, you can print them at 103% to get them in their real size.
You can also find big pictures with a whole overwiew of the whole cockpit and all panel (and Switch) Arrangements of the different F16 Blocks.

OK thank you , i ha ve decide to start with the building of the right band le ft panels with poexiglass band my tools after that , the centrale panel than the aces 2 band finally the elettronica part
