Finding members by region

Hello all,
Is there a way of finding members by region?  It would be great to know of people in the nearby area who have an interest in our sport.
I have 2 cockpits linked together that never get used because there is no-one to fly against (mostly an excuse as I really have no time).
They also need some work to get more LCD displays working.
I need someone interested in building stuff together.
Anyone in the Palm Beach to Stuart FL area?

The old map wasn't all that usefull. It wasn't zoomable, so in countries with lots of members pins where overlaping, it was hard to find someone...

I did like being able to look at the world map and see concentrations of members, but it certainly would be nice to have a zoomable map...would mean that members might have to be a bit more precise about their locations, though.  Didn't that map also have some statistics as to number of builders in a given location?

Maybe we could add some forum headers for group interest/discussion by region?  I could see the sheer number of these getting out of hand, though...might become a nightmare for the Admins...
