Falcon gear warning Tone
« on: November 26, 2018, 09:15:37 PM »
I'm wondering if anyone has an audio clip of what the gear warning tone sounds like in the F-16? This tone would be heard when the gear is not down and locked but the throttle is retarded below a certain power setting with the flaps down.

The reason I ask is that the warning tone generated is the same as the one for the F-101 Voodoo.....and I don't know what it sounds like. I'd like to recreate the tone and use it in my pit once I find out what it is.

Thanks in advance for any tips or leads on this.

That’s easy. I can just pull the sound file from my Falcon install and send it to you.   These are sounds from the actual cockpit so should be what you are looking for.

PM me your email.

Rus,

Yes these are in BMS and really the same cockpit tones for the last 15 years or so.  The ones in BMS are all from the real cockpit tones.
