Salute from Germany
« on: August 26, 2023, 03:55:12 PM »
"A silent conversation.
A call and response.
A display of respect without a word.
That is a salute.

One split-second motion that
acknowledges hours of work and comradery.

An unspoken bond shared by ground crew and air crew.
Trust built over a hundred years between pilots maintainers and sustainment professionals.

A promise made by dedicated men and women to reliably sustain combat-ready aircraft anytime, anywhere.
The expression my change, but the sentiment will always remain the same.

Partnership stats with a common mission and our mission is to keep you flying for decades to come." (Lockheed Martin)

- My mission is to become a Vipersimer -
- And this is my Salute for you -

To myself:
I am from Germany, 33 years old

Why am i here?:
I am planning to build a VR Flightsim cockpit

At which stage i am accually?
I am drawing plans with a free version of "Solid Edge" at the moment

i have to explain a little bit ;)

i want to sit in some Aces II

my idea is to creat some kinda Pit to sit in --> thats for the feeling

the VR Headset brings the cockpit alive.

The left Console will be used for the WinWingF16EX Throttle, the right Console should i use for the mouse / Keyboard

Welcome.
Very nice intro. I am building a complete pit and will use it with VR and without. I hope everything lines up. Your concept looks really cool.

Thanks Nigle, corrently i am working on some elevation adjustment system for the Aces II.

Do you build it from Wood or do you use Metall Strukture?
