Don't forget the BMS forum.
Major maintenance coming from Oct 8, 2000Z to Oct 10, 2200Z
Dear community,

A major maintenance will take place on the weekend of October 8, 2021, starting 1900Z to October 10, 2021 at 2200Z.

Be aware that from this maintenance start and forward:
The forum will be set to read-only mode (no new posts or threads can be posted)
Blog posts will be removed
New registrations will be impossible
Users with "Zero" posts before October 8, 2021 will be removed.

Does that mean they will no longer accept new members, and that BMS updates will in future only be available to current members?

I guess they will only "clean" the forum.
After the maintenance, registering and posting should be possible again.
(and downloading BMS-stuff).

Just my guess.
Let's cross our fingers!

Nothing new.. that happend also in the past. Every user who does not want to write a lot can add a posting in the "just saying hello" section and his account will stay. All other with 0 will be deleted.
Nothing to worry at all.

0800Z: User Registration is closed. If you haven't activated your account, please do so or you'll be deleted...

0925Z: Opening non private forums for guests (except download section and other topics).

0935Z: Attachments cannot be posted anymore (read-only).

0945Z: Database maintenance and optimization (low impact on forum).

1008Z: Database optimization over.

1030Z: Last warning sent to non activated accounts before deletion.
