Hi Guys thought I would tell you a little about myself.  I live in Calgary, Alberta; I?m married and have a 16 year old son.  I joined the reserve services at the age of 16, the 20th Independent Field battery(Artillery).

I then signed up for the regular forces, Canadian Air force as an Aero Engine Tech 511; I was based at Canadian Forces Base Cold Lake, Alberta during the Gulf War.  I was attached to two different squadrons while I was posted there; I worked on (CF-5 and the CF-18 Hornet) with 200 hrs of backseat time during test flights and air shows.

I left the Air Force, and become a peace officer, serving in different capacities and communities.  I have been flying Sims since 1984, Falcon ect??...(not as long as Jody).
I'm here to learn, observe and stay clear of any POLITICAL BULLSHIT.  I have had the pleasure of getting to know some of you, and chatting on the phone with certain individuals.   I really appreciate everyone?s understanding and patience (I?m using VISTA OH Boy).

I recently have been given the opportunity to join the 157th Virtual Fighter Swamp Foxes, A real HONOR.  I?m in the process of building a new computer and going back to XP.  So again I want to say THANK YOU to all my new friends.  JAY and MIKE thanks for your patience.  I have include a few photo?s

Take care,

Dean ?Bravo? MARSH

I've been toying with the idea of getting into RC aircraft.  If I understand correctly, helos are the MOST DIFFICULT things to fly.  I'm actually thinking of flying RC jets with those new turbo-fan motors but to start I'll go for some prop-based A/C.

Very cool toys Bravo!

Hey Dean,

Good post, welcome to the real fighter's den ;) We've already met, but it's good to see some mugshots !

That helo looks awesome (I fly electric myself, or at least I try to keep it off the ground in every possible manner). Although I would not be opposed to give your patrol car a spin either ;)

You should hook up with ValkyrieOden - Calgary resident as well, and great producing all sorts of stuff for the pit :D

So many of you have actually been flying jets - I hope that by the time I reach a thousand posts here, someone surprises me with a 'free ride in a jet' voucher :D

Once again, welcome !

Kim.

At the risk of sounding like the moron here, Valky is a she?  Or is that a typo?
