From Arend Van Oosten (WhiteEagle), FCC connector locator help..
„Help wanted” After more then 10 years of producing FCC’s I am running low on the female 5 pin mini Din connector on the stickbase. I am unable to locate any supplier and kindly request the help of the community. Perhaps any of you can help me find a new supplier. The connector needed is shown on the photo. The hole to hole distance is 20 mm. There are plugs available with 30 mm hole distance, but they won’t do.. click link below for a picture

Hi Mike,

Tell Arend to check this one:
http://www.adafruit.com/products/804

Datasheet says distance between holes is 19.0mm, maybe it suits his needs. I'm not so sure about the number of pins of the Adafruit connector, so he can purchase this one:

http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/es/MD-50PL100/CP-2950-ND/500828

which is the same, just I'm sure that's the 5-pin version.

Hope it helps :)

I think Arend will check this thread, he sent an email so i could put it on the front page for exposure, so I created a thread for replies. If anyone can find one it's you parts hounds on this forum :)

Aye, Sir!!

I have found this one (MDP5 from TecNec), but couldn't find datasheet to check distance between holes:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Mini-DIN-Connector-Socket-Female-7pin-Signal-2007-7-/130412827738

However, if you have a P/N for the connector you are currently using, I may try locating an alternative source :) I work with several electronics suppliers, and could ask them

Hi Raus,

That's the 30 mm one.

The old reference was FR0050103

Arend, I think you just answered my question I sent you in an email.  I was asking if this connector was like a normal PS2 connector keyboards and mice use to have in the old days.  I tried hooking a female connector to the mail connector on the HOTAS, but it won't engage.  Dang if it doesn't look exact, except for one less pin.
