Hello,

small update,
I've worked on the implementation of my PCB card behind the face plate of the ICP.
First, the face plate is not thick enough compared with the real ICP. More, to have a smooth sensation when pushing the button, I thought that it was a good idea to place small silicone-based rounds behind the buttons.

So I had no choice to place an acrylic plate between the PCB card and the face plate...

here is the result of the work, witch have be done using a router and some elbow-grease

Then, I've also worked on the implementation of the thumbwheels. It is a real headache to do, but I like the result. Next step : to place the 3 other wheels, to flush the screws with the metal plate, and to place the thumbwheels behind the backplate of the ICP

Amen
Up to doing that the hardest for me was to fit the throttle arm.
Now thumbwheels took first place :)

Well done Titi

Hi,

Since this summer, I’ve worked on the rails of the electronic bay.

Then, after having completely disassembled all the parts of the pit, I’ve sent it to painting. One of my friend, Gilles, has painted all the parts with a primer, and the backplates of the panels in flat black.

Here are the parts before and after painting :

After that, I’ve assembled most of the consoles, the center tube and the panels :

Next step will be to continue the assembly, and to paint the external parts of the consoles in black. This is not the real color, but I’ve fallen in love with this version, so…

See you
TiTi

Here are some pictures of the painting…. in flat black :

And here is the result with the consoles and the center tube in place :
