Hi Tulkas!

Very nice seat-progress

.... but just a little "constructive critisism"....

The seat-harness handle is way to high. PM me your email-account and I will send you photo?s and/or dims for you.

And, with your metal-skills - I do hope to see the data-recorder transformed into aluminum as well  ;) That seat deserves it!

Let?s not turn this PROGRESS-thread into a sales-thread... use PM?s for that, eh!

But.... Tulkas, you may want to consider sharing your plans/dims/measures/material etc. etc.  in an approriate new thread

Seatrails don?t come on E-Bay you know!

I am very sorry but my handmade parts take too long to be made and I cannot duplicate. I only have time for one pit at the time :)

Cheers

Hi Tor! That?s because it is not a F16?s handle but once painted will look cool even if it is a bit loger.

But pictures all always welcome so I will give you my email anyway :)

Thanks!

I am already planning the final details so I went to make the plumbering shopping, not cheap if you ask me:

I have been working with the metal parts that were prett raw in my last update. I am becoming more comfortable with metal work and I am planning to use more often in the future::

Some fiting test, that side of the seat it is always very spectacular with so much details:

Looking foward to push the seat and get it in position!!

Tulkas,

Really outstanding work on the ACESII Brackets!   And yes; your new Chief Test Pilot seems to approve of your efforts.

Cheers,

Jan

Awesome, Tulkas! Love this seat, mate. The rails are really impressive. Adding the small details like the brackets adds so much to the pit. One thing I would suggest is to study pics and add a lot of pop rivets and screws wherever you see them in pics of the real seat. They are cheap and easy to install. I have asked Dunk to make molds of the quick disconnects for the hoses too. I hope he does, but it looks like you made one already. Can you post a better pic of that? Great job, dude.
