I'll try to help as best I can.

This is all in my honest opinion "IMHO"!!! ;)

New and improve Beta Innovations's cards and gears.... Contact me and only me for more infos. 101-Douxx
Those will control everything in your pit! From warning lights, magnetic switches, gauges to input switches.
They are just the best out there!
See my pit working on only Beta Innovations's technology.

The great Jason's cockpit kit can be found by contacting Luckiest
More infos here: http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=2051.0

Switches and rotaries ( hunt for them on ebay ) (+/- $20 each "avarage")
Search words : Panels, avionics, switches, rotaries.
Rotaries can be found here : Variable Rotary Selector (VRS30) you'll need 4 of those.
You can add 3 more to replace the (VRS36) that is very hard to find.
And Variable Rotary Selector (VRS45) you'll need 8 of those.

The best panels solution is Mike's (+/- $2K for all available) (PM Ka-Bar03 on ViperPit for price list)
Mike's warning lights are included in his panel's stuffs.
Mike's ICP is included in his panel's stuffs (number pad on top of the center console)

Jay is making a lot of PCB cards that works with Mike's panels and kits. (PM Crease-Guard on ViperPit for price list)

Knobs with and without baclighting (PM Runfaster for price and ordering)

Dunk is doing the gear box and some other usefull stuffs. (PM Kneeling Warrior for more infos)

Penny is offering the throttle mod and some other usefull stuffs. (PM Luckiest for more infos)

Jarrod have made a new Throttle mod all in aluminum.
See here : http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=4961.0
and : http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=4623.0

See here : http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=4846.0

There is the PHCC that have similarities with BetaInnovation cards and/or UCC.

Having this file will help you looking/hunting for needed switches and rotaries.

FalconGuages 4.0, a great program to run your instruments on LCD.

No Problem and welcome!!!

Mike, I didn't know of a better place where to put this thread.
If we can find a better place where to put it, go ahead!

Jimmy, you were the one that gave me the idea of having a little FAQ sheet on this site!
After some PM from other newbies, I taught it would be a good idea to have one!

Enjoy!
Stephane.

Thanks AD and Jim

It is true that this site got it all....

I don't know if everybody is sending the newbies to PM me but I'm receiving a lot of questions on how to find parts and built a pit???
So I figure, instead of reinventing the wheel each time, I'd post this one time.
So now I just redirect the newbies to this post.  8)

Falcao,

Just use "Rule 6".

Apparently most wild animals have a sense of smell which can penetrate the ground for something less than 6 feet  .....or so I heard.....

Welcome Falcao!
Just a quick note on the first thread.

Beta Innovations is out of business as of now, indefinitly!!!
I really hope that it won't be difinitively.

You have PHCC that's hot nowaday or the UCC that are still running for interfacing your full cockpit.
Of course there is the still the "Epic" solution but those cards are for the real hard core builders $$$$

Welcome to the forum and good luck with this wife thing!!!
All married pit builders have this kind of desease!

Good hunting for parts!
Stephane.
