Thanks Dave !!!
as per the throttle's gate:
difficult to say .... but i may say it's vertical to the waterline.
And it follows the side wall.
If you have the real sidewall you'll notice the holes that mounts it on the throttle's rail you may take them for reference
Aren't your ribs drilled in the side to allow the gate mounts ?
As per the position with the Alt Gear reference ... have a look at mine first picture ... that's the position.

If i were you i'd try this way
a) mount the throttle _(you should have the holes on the ribs.
b) mount the sidewall panel
c) slide the throttle's gate between the ribs
d) hold in place with a couple of clamps
e) check position and sign the hole's references on the ribs
f) drill and mount.

Cheers

Hey Davide!
Looks fantastic, mate. I have a question. I too am mounting my throttle and it is extremely difficult. Is the throttle gate vertical to the waterline? Or does it lean at an angle? Is it parallel with the side console or the side wall? The front of mine is directly over the ALT GEAR handle and I think it should be farther outboard. I am really fighting this because it has to be just right as you say or it wont work.
Thanks
Nigel

Digikey - SLG2016 Displays.

My next dumb question:
These definitely aren't your typical ganged or multiplexed displays (Using EPICUSB for primary sim interface)

How are these driven? Using a PIC?

Strale is using the Beta Innovations's cards to interface these OSRAM.
But I think that the PHCC is working hard to try and interface them.

I completely quote 101-doux on this !
He's right i'm driving them with Betainnovaion's Efflux
but for sure someone soon will develop the code to drive them also with PHCC i've no doubt on this ! Probably it will take some time... but as unfortunately (and VERY SADLY) Betainnovations closed the "shop" .... PHCC seem the only way to go !
There probably might be some other solution ... but lot of programming is needed

Cheers

Guys,
tonight i was up till 02:00 am programming switches and outputs on the PIT.
I finally mounted the UCC (for the Real Speed Brake indicator) and GRV2, EFFLUX, Efflux Lite, Aircore Board and Pwm for gauges's backligthing.

still to find some lightbits and to solve the problem with the landing gear handle solenoid !!
here I've a BIG TROUBLE !!! is there anybody out there that succesfully interfaced it ? and HOW ?
I have Beta Innovations's stuff and gave an output to the solenoid with "check main" and set a flag on the imput
of the white pushbutton.

Probably i burned one of the LOHV64 output as the solenoid stay always active after first imput !

Any suggestions ? i was willing to avoid to leave the solenoid directly connected to the power (then activated trough the pushbutton) 'cause it would act even when power is not present on the sim
(hope it makes sense !)

Hope to be able to post a video soon !

Cheers

Planned for next week !

- Get definetely RID of the weird behavour of the landing gear handle solenoid hooking it as
Direct Output on a DO10-RE5 board (each time hooked to a LoHv64 it burned the output !!!
- Swapping again the lamp on the EPU Run indicator (i swapped with a 5Vdc but the the intensity is too low .... back to 24 Vdc. !
- Wiring the harness for the Avionics Panel, Test Panel and SNSR Power Panel
- Hopefully Installing and configuring them in the PIT

Cheers

Davide,
Didn't you read that same problem that Pete had? You posted about it if I remember. You need a N4001 diode across the +/- of the solenoid and it will stop doing the spike. I will try to find the post, I am sure it's in his build thread.
Best,
Nigel

Best,

it helped on all mine, and have no problem, but I also tested my solenoid with 10-12 vdc, and no problem.

Strale your pit is GREAT, I whis I had a metal trainer too, but I  hope Ill have one some day.
