CMDS UPDATE !!!

I WAS SURE IT WAS POSSIBLE .. and HERE's the PROVE !

ok ... spent some time, some money too .... but NOW i'm able to interface my real CMDS panel with a CUSTOM BUILT PCB of the same shape and with the same functions of the real one ..... BUT .... but .... it will mount the BELOVED OSRAM SLG2016 instead the "F#Cking" original display !

EVERYTHING IS DIFFICULT but NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE !

SOON available in three different options:

NAKED BOARD: you will add: OSRAM, CAPACITORS, LAMPS or LEDS and CONNECOTRS
SEMI WIRED BOARD: Sold with OSRAMs, CAPACITORS and CONNECTORS
FULLY WIRED BOARD: OSRAMs, CAPACITORS, wirebulbs LAMPS (5Vdc) and CONNECTORS
the last option will be available until all the wirebulbs are finished ! need to check how many i still have !

SINGLE BOARD

Hey Strale!
Wow those boards looks perfect, GREAT WORK mate
Do you have a price for the fully mounted board option, sure like one, and need the original CMDS panel too :-)

Thanks Guys for the nice words ....

Just a clarification ... looking at the picture with the PCB inside the Real Panel it seems that the holes are
misaligned ..... it's just a matter of the camera view ! holes are perfectlya ligned !

More info to come

Cheers

Davide

Hi Kurt,
thanks ! and YEP .. they're really Nice ... I'm enjoying them a lot !

Nope, still don't have a final price ! still dealing with the SLG2016 supplier and still to find some others wirebulbs !

HEY ... if anybody has sources for light wirebulbs rated 5 - 12 and 24 Vdc I could also provide different voltage's boards.

I'm using 5Vdc for backliting and would like to use 24Vdc for legends .... but then if that kind of bulb is unfoundable i will do with 5Vdc !

some specs:
lenght: no more than 6 mm
diameter: no more than 3 mm

Cheers

Hi Davide!

I have a load of white wire bulbs at home I'm not using.

I've decided to make it simplier in my pit and only have Mike's backlight EL sheet.
No more assle between white and green panels light.

I'll have to check what is the rating. I think they are 5 volts.
Let me get back to you with the numbers I have and their specs...

And promess it will be very cheap!
As in 50% of what I paid them for. ;)
