Why are you guys wanting a HUD Cam that actually takes video?  There are plenty of video capture software for I game video and not to mention a camera taking video of another video screen will look like crap anyway?

Not sure I understand the purpose?

Real HUD cam acts that way. And video quality is not very good. So I think it is a good addition to a cockpit. Therefore you could use that footage on mounting videos

What would the inner diameter be? I guess different users might already carry different cams..

Hi Kukki,

Again I'm just giving a personal view here as I'm building a pretty specific case (BAF MLU) but as you are also provision NATO ICP backplate ALS part, maybe it's worth thinking about:
The MLU (BAF for sure, most likely other EPAF countries also but no info on that) camera's don't have those "ridges" on the back (the part facing towards the HUD & pilot) but it's just flat metal.
If you're building high fidelity parts and already making some MLU/NATO specific parts, this might also be a consideration.
I already have another lower end replica without the ridges, so no direct request from my part, just mentioning for what it's worth perhaps to others.

Greetz,
Faan
