This looks like it will become a fine pit! By the way, what is the thickness of the teflon sheet you put between the friction disc and the throttle arm? Looks like around 3mm thickness to me. Great job!

you are right!
thickness of the teflon plate is 3mm.
thinner will work as well but this one was in my storage anyway.

After a long time I finally could work on my pit again.

The throttle/guiderail thing was pretty hard for me since i wasn't patient enough to put both things inside my pit the correct way.

So I thought about building a single module with both of them in place which I will put inside the pit as a whole.

Here are my results so far (more pics will follow in the next few hours since the paint needs to dry) :

My guiderail, milled out of one aluminum plate:
-build in glidepads made of teflon
-the afterbuner plate is changeable

Thanks for the positive feedback.
The throttle is build inside the pit and fits perfectly!  :yihaw:

I will build the center console tomorrow.
I am unsure about some measurements.

here is a pic:

The upper arrow`s length should be about 50 cm, right?

If I build my pit like this the length of the lower arrow is about 54 cm which seems 2cm off for me (it should be 52, right)?
Can someone of you guys please measure his cokpit at the shown positions and tell me the results?

thanks in advance Ugamanuga

Working hard this weekend to build the center console.
Here are some wip pics of it.
As you can see the outer angle are not quite correct.
I've had to do this beacause of the size of the monitors I will put there.
The wrong angles will be corrected with the glareshield. :-D

anyway, here are some pics:
