Wow Hans Dieter
I guess your bed is next to your pit      Amazing how fast your build is - and so well
Tell me how you managed to substitute sleep for pit building, I want to master that skill   :bounce2:

Thanks rufus, wralex and henkie,

yes, you are right - working at the pit is only possible in the late night when the world becomes quite - what wonderful nights

Below you see that I have a problem with the back section but I still have an idea to manage this  Try to realize this at the week end.
Have a nice day

Finishing the rear section by paintingthe fuselage-area:

In the past I made these color levelling principally in scale 1:6 - 1:32. Here in 1:1 :

A fascinating view under the rear canopy of a F-16:

The result:

My reference of the finished fuselage:

Thanks to all!! That´s a great motivation

Next step is the support-base of the canopy frame. It looks not very spectacular, but it may be the base for the bottom side of a canopy frame. So I have precautionary copied the sheet but still thinking about realization of such a mega-project that needs at least 2 month and more

It´s a relatively thick (2,5 mm), 166 cm long, one piece-sheet that is very easy to be cut. see pics below.

One question: I know some of you have a real canopy-frame. Could you give me as many dimensions as possible. Via PM I can give you my eMail-adress for pictures and/or measurements - thanks in advance!!
Have a nice day

Sorry, no. I don't have a canopy frame   :weep:
And it is a big thing, so I am waiting on Kukki's "magic guys" to construct one   :countingmoney:

@Kukki: What do you say!

I think that´s not very realistic - I need a frame with a length of 220 cm

Every self build cockpit has different dimmensions. Kukki: Would you build "tailor-made canopyframes"?  :yihaw:
Have a nice day
