THX community!!

Anyone who has the measures of the rear section (behind the cockpit-backwall; see above)? I´m planning to start the building of this section this evening/tonight.
Have a nice day

The beginning of the next section:

The rear canopy base. Not easy to build without the exact measures. So I had to disassemble the construction about 5 times - about 150 screews disassembled for 5 times - I cannot see screws furthermore  - but the result is satisfying. I thought about using rivets but was glad not to do so - no disassembling would have been possible.
Have a nice day

Sure, you did not put all screws back in every time?  A few at the corners for test fitting would be enough.
Nevertheless, you must be very proud of this construction, especially when dimensions were not all available     Great job

I guess most of us have assembled and disassembled structures more than once or twice   8)

You are right, of course. You must imagine the following scene: You are sure all is perfect and assemble the whole construction with a feeling of happiness and pride. Then you look on your oevre for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes ... and as longer you look on the part you determine that something is wrong. Further measuring consists this. The part is 10 mm to high or to wide or to deep ....

Ok, after spending 20 hours for this building step you want to produce a perfect part - so there is no other way but to unloose 150 screews to make a (almost) perfect job  :brickwall: - and so on................
Have a nice day

Hans Dieter

One of the most exciting moments of the cockpit-projekt is the rear canopy mounting. Probably I´ll finish this step today.
