Thanks, folks, for the nice replies .

After many, many hours of boring eletronic jobs (realizing a Backup-ADI, backlighting of panels, displayport-tests etc. etc.) and some exciting hours with DCS Ka-50 and Huey-Simulation , here a small but important step that realizes the fixing of the ACES-Rails. With this construction I can move the rails from about 65 - 50°. The position on the photos shows exactly 58°.

The last photo belows shows the photo-filter-bezels fit for the right console-instruments.
Have a nice day

Looks mighty fine to me... !

BTW - exactly what filter did you use for the FQTY glass/bezel?.. :notes: ...I gotta do that one myself.

This evening finished: Some parts that make the rail-backwall more realistic:

Yes, of course! I cannot remember wether I had a reason not to order one - or only forgot it  ::)

Hi guys,

sorry for this building-step that is surely boring for a lot of you. No one appreciate the crazy plan to build a part that´s at the best hardly visible in the finished pit. But due to the fact that I´m a ACES II-enthusiast I couldn´t resist building also a ACES-backwall that´s as effectively as possible close to the real part (I estimate 80 % or so). Here is the result with a soft weathering (sorry again  :-[, feel free to let me know if I shall stop posting this backwall-madness):

Below the building steps for those who are interested (I know a little bit to much pics  :-[):
Have a nice day

Hans Dieter
